Industries We Serve
Mold Manufacturing for Home Appliances
Large structural parts, appearance parts and assemblies for white goods, small appliances and HVAC products.
Large parts, long runs, stable tolerances
Appliance parts combine size with volume: a drum housing or a door liner can be large, visible and produced in the hundreds of thousands. That makes cooling design, warpage control and tool maintenance the deciding factors in the cost of the part.
We design the cooling and ejection first, then the rest of the tool around them, and we keep a spare insert set so maintenance never stops the line.
- Large housings, liners, drums and panels
- Appearance parts with texture and colour control
- Hot runner systems for fast cycles
- Spare inserts and documented maintenance plans
What we make for this industry

Large tooling
Big mold bases with balanced cooling and robust ejection for heavy parts.

High-volume molding
Production scheduling, in-process checks and tool maintenance planned around the annual volume.

Appearance parts
Colour, gloss and texture matched to the approved sample over the whole production life.

Assemblies
Sub-assemblies and modules delivered ready for your line, with functional checks.
What drives appliance part cost
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Cooling design | Cycle time is usually the largest single cost component in volume molding |
| Warpage control | Large flat parts fail assembly if they distort, and the fix is in the tool, not the press |
| Tool maintenance | Long runs need planned maintenance intervals and spare inserts |
| Material choice | Filled grades reduce warpage but challenge surface finish |
Running a long production programme
01
Design for manufacture
Wall thickness, ribs and gate positions reviewed against warpage and cycle time.
02
Tool design and build
Cooling layout, ejection strategy and hot runner selection documented before machining.
03
Trial and validation
Sample parts measured, process window recorded, appearance approved against the sample.
04
Volume production
Scheduled production with in-process checks and a documented maintenance plan.
05
Continuous improvement
Cycle time and scrap data reviewed so the part gets cheaper to make, not more expensive.
Frequently asked questions
Can you produce spare inserts for maintenance?
Yes, and we recommend it for any tool running high volume. A spare cavity set turns a two-week tool repair into a one-day insert change.
How do you control colour across a long production run?
Colour is checked against the approved master sample at defined intervals, and material batches are recorded so a shade change can be traced.
Do you mold glass-filled or flame-retardant grades?
Yes. These need different gate, wear and drying strategies, which we plan into the tool and the process.
Can you ship on a scheduled release rather than in one lot?
We can hold finished stock and ship against your release plan, which reduces the amount of inventory you carry.
